Ridgewood NJ, April 27 marked this year’s Earth Day, a celebration that raises awareness to protect our planet for today and future generations.
On Sunday, April 27, The Conservancy for Ridgewood Public Lands and Green Ridgewood is hosting the annual “2024 Daffodil Festival & Earth Day Fair” – One of the highlights is the Daffy Dog Parade, where dogs can dress in costumes.
Till Horkenbach and Kelly O’Brien, longtime Ridgewood residents and Realtor® Sales Associates at Keller Williams Village Square Realty hosted fun activities, surprises and giveaways. A wildflower potting station, a grand nature scavenger and “Guess How Many Worms ate The Pizza❞ were a huge hit.
“We are proud to support this important and fun event’, say Till and Kelly. “It is so much fun for the kids. Raising awareness early in a child’s life is crucial.”
Till and Kelly admire the efforts of Ridgewood’s revamped recycling center and how it has evolved. “But we can always do more”, he says. “Participating in this fun event and being able to teach children the importance of “Earth Day” is priceless.
