Woodcliff lake NJ, to celebrate Earth Day, Bergen County Executive Jim Tedesco joined Veolia for the unveiling of an 11-foot sculpture of a massive fish named Finn at the Woodcliff Lake Reservoir to highlight conservation efforts. Constructed from repurposed metal, Finn encourages residents to recycle and is large enough to hold more than 15 trash bags of plastic bottles.

Ridgewood NJ, a majority of Americans say they’ve done their share to clean up the planet, but most don’t credit Earth Day – celebrated annually on April 22 – for raising awareness of environmental issues.
A new Rasmussen Reports national telephone and online survey finds that 60% of American Adults have volunteered their time or donated money to help clean up the environment. That’s down from 65% in 2017, which was the highest in our survey history. Thirty-three percent (33%) have not contributed time or money to green efforts.
