  1. What is she jaywalking if so that’s on the pedestrian. People need to stay People need to stay in the walkway at all times . And they need to pay attention to their surroundings instead of their cell phone. And The speed on Ridgewood av between Maple and brod st should be 15 miles an hour only.

  2. Welcome to side I’m surprise someone doesn’t get it each and every day throughout the CBD. Why because they just don’t pay attention they walk in the street run in the street their heads down looking at their cell phone headphones on their heads up their ass do that New York City you get killed. So stupid, they walking to the street light down at the cross the street without looking both ways dumbasses. If you get hit doing that oh well .

  3. Yes I agree all kidding aside it’s amazing what goes on in the business section people just don’t pay attention. I think 25 mph is a bit fast in that section of the central business district, just maybe The top officials should hire traffic consultant engineer to see what they come up with slow down traffic . Because if I’m driving 25 mph on any street in the CBD and someone works out between cars how can I stop it’s impossible. I just want to thank you for business on for 35 years.

  4. she was getting out of her car someone stopped for her. All I saw was a small car go around the car that was stopped for her. And hit her. Actually hit her in the oncoming lane

  5. Hit her in the oncoming lane? Does this suggest that she got out of her car and crossed the street. Should she have not exited her car, walked to the crosswalk and then crossed the street from there?

  6. Pedestrians:

Always cross at corners, within marked crosswalks where available.

If crossing in other locations, yield the right of way to vehicles. Failure to obey the law carries a $54 fine (court costs additional; C.39:4-32, 33)

Look left, right and left again before crossing. Watch for turning cars.

    Always walk facing traffic.

Obey traffic signals, especially “Walk/Don’t Walk.”

Remain alert! Don’t assume that cars are going to stop.

Wear reflective clothing when walking at night.

Stay sober. Walking while impaired greatly increases your chances of being struck.
