“This town is turning upside down. Thousands will move in during a very short period of time. Be prepared for a shock. In addition to the garage, to accommodate the new horde a library expansion will follow plus a PAC which is masked under HS needs. Developers have not started with low income housing yet. Just watch. RW will be a mix of Hackensack, Montclair, Englewood and a bit of Paterson as well. Who wouldn’t want to live in this melting pot.
Ridgewood is GONE.
OMG 😱
Its going to get more congested – thats for sure but then again, it already has been changing
I think the diversification this will bring to the town is worth the growing pains….we’ll manage just fine.
Diversity will be great. Why can’t we be just like NYC? I love it everyday. Cheerful homeless laying on sidewalks, dog poop all over the place, asians or other foreigners yelling in their language, nice and polite panhandlers, colorful heads, high schoolers with half their butt naked and smoking stuff in open public, garbage everywhere, sweet music of cars honking as they wish, bikers flying through the streets and missing you by an inch….. What’s not to like?
Diversification.
You are saying that low income housing will bring in Diversification?
So you are basically a racist?
Only poor people are “diversified”?
.
okay :-):-) relax
The diversity point overlooks the lies told to us.
We were told these luxury developments would be perfect for villagers to downsize into. They would keep people from having to move away because their 4 bedroom houses were no longer needed and two bedroom places would be perfect.
So, no diversity, just moving old folks down to live by the railroad tracks.
I wonder how many villagers who worked hard their whole lives have in fact given up their colonials, and ranches, and tudors and their backyards and their neighborhoods to sign up to go live in these apartments by the rail road tracks?
That insidious lie was part of the whole scam.
