my favorite annual post. all the crickets from the posters on here about volunteering to help the town. . .lol
But seriously, why would anyone actually want to volunteer? Invest a lot of time, work for free and just be the subject of scorn, accusations and constant whining by some group or other in town. Maybe get your name dragged around in social media by wackos, potentially impacting the career you get paid for (yes my recent promotion involved an extensive background check and vetting, including social media). I am sorry to say it – no way. I’d rather work with private charitable organizations or serve on a Board.
Dr. Fishbein consolidated his power last night with a very clear vote of support from administrators, teachers, parents, students, and most importantly, the Board.
Ms. Kwak and Mr. Dani have the spotlight shining very brightly on them. Ms. Kwak was even questioning whether an elected board’s vote mattered?
Very clear show of support for Dan! And stability for our schools during a global pandemic.
