Hackensack NJ, according to Bergen County Executive Jim Tedesco , the County broke ground on Wednesday on a new amphitheater and comfort station in Riverside County Park. Between the Boathouse already under construction right up the road, and this project, we are re-envisioning the face of Riverside County Park.
The new amphitheater and comfort station will serve as a fully accessible centrally located focal gathering space, providing a community performance area and bathroom facility for park visitors. The $2.8 million project, funded by grants from the Bergen County Open Space Trust Fund as well as Bergen County Parks Capital Improvement dollars, follows recommendations from the Bergen County Parks Master Plan. South Bergen, know that this is only the beginning! Riverside Park’s future is bright and I look forward to cutting this ribbon next year.

Is The Blog becoming the Ramon Hache PR site? Can we stop with his constant water fountain ribbon-cutting pics and focus on things like Winograd’s attempted communist coup on Village Council?
How about re-imagining the Century Road bridge??????????????????
“I look forward to cutting this ribbon next year.”
You sure about that?
How about 2024?????????????????????????
The river and park areas in Rutherford, Lyndhurst, and North Arlington are actually pretty nice.
Rutherford CBD was turning into a dump in the 1980’s.
When I go back to my old home town I see the great progress that has been made.
Of course, it’s had functioning parking lots and a functioning parking garage for years.
