  1. That’s 2 cyclists in the last 4 days….

  2. Does the photographer not have the decency to blur out this injured party’s face? I know I wouldn’t want my face shown. In addition, why is this anyone else besides the one man’s business? This has zero effect on anything in the Village.

  3. I was the first person there. I saw the boy fall and the bike tumble to the ground..I didnt see the photographer until a woman who was near me mentioned it. at the time, I didnt
take notice. All I cared about was caring for this young teen who lay on the ground while
I held his hand waiting for help to arrive. The photographer didnt even ask me if he seemed ok, just stood there snapping away. Paparazzi these days are only interested in getting a story. I am praying for the boy and hoping to hear soon if he is ok today. I am grateful I saw the accident as it happened and was able to attend to the child quickly . Thoughts are with him and his family.

    1. I’m sure he is beyond appreciative and your actions should be commended.
Don’t you think it’s a bit pathetic that people sit around and wait for bad things (like this) to happen and show up and provide them to the various online Ridgewood blogs?
Shame on the owner of this blog for even publishing this story. It is 100% unnecessary and an invasion of this minor’s privacy. Even more shame on the photographer (s).

      This is not news.

  4. If you can’t stomach tragic stories or bad news why don’t you just stay tightly wrapped up in your private cocoon instead of blaming the media for reporting what’s happening in the real world. As the old saying goes, shit happens, and believe it or not, shit does happen in Ridgewood.
