Ridgewood NJ, the Ridgewood Chamber of Commerce and the Ridgewood Police Department along with the Ridgewood Fire Department and Ridgewood Emergency Services hosted a “Touch a Truck” event at two locations Van Nest Square Park and Wilsey Square. The family friendly event featured all the different Village vehicles and equipment from from 10:00 to 2:00.

The “Touch a Truck” event coincided with the last day of the Annual Ridgewood Sidewalk Sale Days and a new event “Staycation” Saturday in Downtown Ridgewood. The event featured books signings at Bookends , performances from Waldwick’s School of Rock bands from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., and a dancing with the stars activity with the Arthur Murray Dance Studio, the Wizard of OZ Heart and Motion style and finaly wrapping it up with the the band Treble making an appearance in Van Neste Square, performing covers of well-known hits.
Wow they did it on the Saturday.
