Waldwick NJ, just after noon the Waldwick, NJ Volunteer Fire Department was dispatched to the third call of the day, an active fire in a dumpster trailer parked in the driveway of a home on Glenair Avenue which was in close proximity to the home. First arriving Squad 633 pulled one attack line to knock down the fire.
The fire investigation proved that the cause was due to supplies used in the refinishing of the homes floors had not been disposed of in a proper manner. This is the second fire in two weeks that the Waldwick, NJ Volunteer Fire Department responded to that started by the improper disposal of supplies and debris from floor refinishing.
