Wyckoff NJ, Saturday morning the Wyckoff Fire department was dispatched for a reported structure fire on Helena Avenue. Upon crews arrival, a small electrical fire and smoke condition was located inside the home. This appeared to be due to a tree branch that took the primary power service line down. Crews extinguished and overhauled the area. Orange and Rockland Electric made the proper repairs.
Waldwick Fire Tower 641 responded on the working fire assignment to assist the Wyckoff Fire Department. While en-route 641 was redirected to an additional fire alarm that came in for a residence on Eder Avenue along with Franklin Lakes Fire Engine 331.
