Hasbrouck Heights NJ, file this under you not even safe in your own home, just after midnight, the department was dispatched to a vehicle into a house on the Boulevard near Baldwin Ave. Chief 60 got on the scene and transmitted a 10-30 and requested the Wood-Ridge Fire Department to respond. After investigating the scene, crews found the exterior gas meter was destroyed with free-flowing gas and structural damage to the basement. Wood-Ridge Fire Department and other mutual aid assisted on the scene and covered the Borough during this incident. No injuries reported.
This was my house. It was the 7th time cars have ended up on my lawn in the last 15 years including a knocked down traffic signal, and a car chase that started in Clifton. You are so right, I don’t feel safe in my own home!
