Ridgewood NJ, two people were transported to The Valley Hospital for evaluation following a two-vehicle collision on the afternoon of Thursday, May 29, at the intersection of Ackerman Avenue and Bellair Road.
According to authorities, a 4-door sedan collided with a Ford Bronco SUV, resulting in non-life-threatening injuries for both occupants of the sedan. The sedan sustained significant front-end damage and required towing from the scene, while the Bronco was able to be driven away under its own power.
Emergency Response and On-Site Action
Personnel from the Ridgewood Police Department (RPD), Ridgewood Fire Department, Ridgewood EMS, and Valley Hospital ambulance responded quickly to the incident.

Firefighters from Ridgewood’s Professional Firefighters FMBA Local 47 assisted the victims and secured the scene by mitigating potential electrical hazards and managing a fluid spill caused by the crash.

Ridgewood Police provided traffic control, secured the intersection, and are investigating the crash to determine the cause.

Not surprising. Bad visibility at that intersection, if youre trying to turn on to Ackerman. Of course, if people would slow down it wouldn’t be an issue. I’ll get back to you when I can figure out how to blame pedestrians for this.
