Look, everyone in Ridgewood has some interest here. We’re homeowners, business owners, property owners. And for anyone else who has no interests here, why would we want them on our Council?
Backwards.
People do you know how many mayor and council members in pretty much every town around us have interest in real estate of somehow, or there are attorneys of some sort. This is extremely old news.
Stop voting for people just because they are listed under “democrat.” Seriously, think about this when the next election comes around.
Except Ridgewood election materials and ballots do not list party affiliation. I doubt most of my neighbors know the affiliation of the Council members. I am a dem and voted Knutson and Reynolds (Republicans).
Ridgewood voters know the party affiliation of council and BOE members and vote solidly democrat , you are not the norm
Since the Mayor is an attorney, and owns land in town, hasn’t he ever heard of “I’m recusing myself due to conflict of interest”?
Vagianos is a slimy weasel and will stop at nothing to be wind, dined and pocket lined. This guy is a strategic manipulator but he will smile and stab you in the back. Don’t trust him 1 bit and that goes for the rest of the ridiculous council. Who think that they are doing all of these great things. When they are really doing the bidding for this Mayor.
Paulie learned his politics in Fort Lee.
Which is exactly what this town is turning into.
Elections have consequences.
