Why Choose Graydon Pool Over the Jersey Shore?
Heading down the shore has its perks, but staying local at Graydon Pool comes with some unbeatable advantages for busy North Jersey families. Local residents love it because it offers:
-
Zero Parkway Traffic: Skip the hours of bumper-to-bumper gridlock on the Garden State Parkway.
-
Wildlife-Free Swimming: Enjoy a sandy beach environment with absolutely no sharks and no jellyfish.
-
Free Parking: No hunting for expensive parking spots or feeding meters all day.
How to Buy Graydon Pool Badges
Ready to lock in a summer of memories? Season badges and passes are available right now. Getting your badges is simple and can be done in one of two ways:
-
Online via CommunityPass: Log into your regional CommunityPass account to purchase your badges from the comfort of home.
-
In-Person: Drop by the Graydon Pool Badge Office right at the facility to purchase your entry passes directly.
Don’t miss out on kicking off the season at Ridgewood’s favorite community landmark. Grab your sunscreen, pack your beach towels, and we’ll see you at the water!

Love Graydon. Used to lifeguard there, now I get a “senior” villager pool badge
My 3 children loved going. We would go for a few hours and they would play with the other children. It was perfect.
I have purchased day passes over the years. The family neighborhood feel is still there.
My fondest childhood memories all revolve around Graydon pool summers ☀️.
I would think an update might be in order though? It was a WPA project in the Roosevelt era and it has been a jewel of the town ever since but I’d suggest an updated clubhouse or pavilion and modern grilling areas that might also host summer outdoor events in the evening and could add new revenue streams. Permits alone would bring in added revenue. Also the grassy end is rarely used fully so maybe a lazy river design at that end around the island could be designed to use that space in a more entertaining way? The kiddie area does need to be a bit more self contained and filtered better first. Making it easier and more comfortable for Moms to access that area should also be high priority.
Still timeless and a town treasure but maybe it could be used to its fullest a little more. Maybe I’m wrong?
