GLEN ROCK, NJ — Commuters who frequent the borders of Glen Rock, Ridgewood, and Ho-Ho-Kus need to prepare for significant travel disruptions later this month.
The Glen Rock Police Department has issued a traffic advisory ahead of a major Bergen County infrastructure project. Beginning Monday, July 13th, through Thursday, July 23rd, county crews will actively undergo extensive milling and paving operations along Maple Avenue.
While the actual resurfacing work is strictly limited to the sections of Maple Avenue running through neighboring Ho-Ho-Kus and Ridgewood, the resulting traffic gridlock is expected to spill heavily into Glen Rock.

Because Maple Avenue serves as a primary local artery connecting these northern Bergen County municipalities, the road closures and construction zones will inevitably cause a massive bottleneck.
