Ridgewood to Gather for 25th Anniversary 9/11 Remembrance Ceremony

RIDGEWOOD, NJ — The Village of Ridgewood invites residents, neighbors, and community members to gather in solemn remembrance on Friday, September 11, at 8:45 AM in the Village Hall courtyard.
This year marks the 25th anniversary of the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001. As the Freedom Flag flies above Village Hall, the community will observe a moment of silence to honor the nearly 3,000 lives lost on that tragic day, including 12 cherished Ridgewood residents.
The ceremony will recognize and pay tribute to:

The Victims: The nearly 3,000 innocent individuals who lost their lives on September 11, 2001.

Our Local Community Members: The 12 Ridgewood residents whose lives were tragically cut short.

First Responders: The extraordinary bravery, selflessness, and sacrifice of emergency personnel, firefighters, police officers, and medical workers.

The Families: The surviving loved ones who carry the enduring weight of this profound loss.
All members of the community are invited to gather together in reflection, unity, and shared memory to ensure those we lost are never forgotten.
