Ridgewood NJ, Twenty-five years after the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks, communities across Bergen County are gathering to honor the 2,977 lives lost, support surviving families, and recognize the extraordinary bravery of first responders.
While major national observances take place at the National September 11 Memorial in New York City, the Pentagon, and Shanksville, Pennsylvania, local towns in the Ridgewood and Glen Rock area are hosting meaningful ceremonies, candlelit vigils, and tribute events.

Glen Rock GRACE Memorial Service

Time & Location: Friday at 6:30 p.m. | Veterans’ Park, Glen Rock (Rain or Shine)

Details: Organized by the Glen Rock Assistance Council and Endowment (GRACE), this solemn annual service includes candle lighting, prayers, musical selections, and the reading of names. As a special 25th-anniversary tribute, individual photographs of the 11 Glen Rock residents lost on September 11 will be displayed on the Memorial Bench.
Borough of Ho-Ho-Kus Remembrance Ceremony
