Reader says the Aronsohn team want the election moved to November in order to get The Valley Hospital project approved

PJ – You missed an even more important item on this week’s Village Council meeting agenda. Perhaps the most important item.

And it is that the Aronsohn team will be proposing a move of the Village Council elections from May to November. They will do it under the guise of it being a money saver.

In reality, Aronsohn, Pucciarelli, and Hauck want the election moved to November in order to extend Aronsohn’s reign as Mayor, and to get The Valley Hospital project approved by the Council before any new members are elected (which could trigger a legal challenge).

  1. They should make the school board elections in November. They would never do that though because maybe some people would actually vote on the candidates. They don’t want that. They only want the few people with something to gain to vote.

    Thed.

  2. Actually it’s the exact opposite. Aronsohn’s seat is not up for reelection. It’s the two that oppose the VH expansion and the downtown development that are up for reelection. I figure the three-some will oppose the moving of the election because they want the other two out and they can approve all the over-development.
