Council and Roberta have already made arrangements to rent out the house to HealthBarn USA. Why the public hearing now? Shouldn’t the public hearing have preceded the decision? Ass backwards again, Screw the residents, the Council always knows best.
NO SURPRISE HERE..THEY THINK THEY ARE SMARTER THAN THE TAXPAYERS,,OVERALL. TIME TO CLEAN HOUSE. ONLY ONE PLACE TO GO FROM HERE AND THAT IS UP IF WE MAKE THE NEEDED CHANGE IN OUR TOWNS Management or Lack of Same,
Parking is rather limited there. Will they have to add parking for this use to not absorb all of the parking places that are there?
Why don’t we all do this?

Change the use? The use was changed moths ago. The property and park area are leased “done deal” to a commercial business, Healthbarn USA. What now? Will the tenants be evicted if the public says NO, we don’t want a business here? What happened to open space for public use? Once again…Revenue over Residents!
Irene got 10 million for the park.
No need to then name it for her.
Rename it hillcrest park, or its REAL name, which is Hoffmans Farm.
It is funny that we elected a council and then expect a public hearing on everything. This is small potatoes.
Having said that it was interesting that the council went againse their pedestrian safety advisory and allowed the continued closure of Clinton Ave. the greater good was not served in that decision.
Does anyone know the answers to this questions? Did we receive money from Green Acres to buy this property? If so will the “Change of use” cause us to repay that money?
Yes; Green Acres funding was accepted for this project.
