  1. Please take down the stupid lawn signs, we don’t live in Mahwah.

  2. During the public comments, one student spoke – she was great. Then one parent/teacher spoke. Who was she? She sounded very rude. How can she be negotiating with the board with that type of attitude?

  3. What is stupid about showing support for Ridgewood teachers? Perhaps they are a point of contention for you as the message speaks volumes in 3 little words.

  4. The Community has shown its support for teachers – for many years – we are an extremely high paying district. What is upsetting to many of us is that we are losing ground in our “Tradition of Excellence.” Ridgewood is a very cushy school district to work in and yet our teachers complain about their contract and medical benefits. They fail to see that for those of us outside of academia, salary increases and benefits are either tied to performance or out of our control. We do not get automatic bumps in our pay rates for earning advanced degrees. By no means am I disparaging a profession that is so important to our society at large but the behavior and demands of many of our Ridgewood teachers disgusts me. The message should be very clear — the town can’t and will not willingly go along with every little thing the union members want. If teachers are not happy working in Ridgewood please move on to another district.

  5. Very few people showing support for Ridgewood teachers, the REA should take note and adjust their bad faith negotiating tactics…
