We had dinner at the restaurant on this Saturday.
The acoustics are very loud and we could hardly hear the person
next to us. I had to flag the waiter down to order my appetizer,
then flag him down again to order dinner, and then again to
order dessert. He never came to check in on us once during the
meal. He actually made a comment on how is is the only one
there for tables. They food was mediocre at best. I accidentally
left an expensive bottle of tequila on the table and called to say
I would be coming back for it. No one picked up the phone even
thought they were definitely still there so I left a message. Also
sent an email. Called again in the morning. No response so I drove
down to be told the waiter would be bringing it back in ten minutes.
I am sorry but I don’t want it’s someone took it
home. You never know. They parent that was most disappointing was
the owner didn’t seem to care one bit and made no opologies for his
lack of response to my calls and email.
I guess he is not worried about return customers or disparaging word
of mouth comments.

They’re brand new, Karen. Any new business takes time to work out the kinks, especially a restaurant. Leaving the bottle of tequila was your mistake, not theirs. You should have driven right back after noticing you forgot it.
