Amtrak Pedestrian Strike Near Secaucus Junction Shut Down Northeast Corridor During Wednesday Nights Rush

Secaucus NJ, yesterday at 5:26 pm rail service into and out of Penn Station New York was suspended due to an Amtrak pedestrian strike near Secaucus Junction. NJ TRANSIT rail tickets and passes are being cross-honored by NJ TRANSIT bus and PATH at Newark Penn Station, Hoboken and 33rd Street.

At 6:02 pm Rail service into and out of Penn Station New York was resumed ,subject to up to 2 hour delays due to police activity near Secaucus Junction.
