Ridgewood Nj, the driver of a black colored Maserati, believed to have been stolen in Franklin Lakes, was captured near the Route 17 Park & Ride in Ridgewood after he led police from multiple agencies on an early Wednesday morning, 05/03, chase through northwest Bergen County.

The suspect reportedly had earlier tried to run down a Mahwah police officer on Pulis Avenue in Mahwah. No injuries were reported in the minor crash that occurred when the vehicle was finally boxed in on southbound Route 17, Ridgewood by Mahwah police vehicles. Mahwah Police officers transported the individual back to their headquarters for processing. Numerous criminal (most notably, attempted aggravated assault of a police officer) and motor vehicle charges/violations are likely.
Oh, he’ll be back on the streets in the next 24 hrs. In the meantime officers and other drivers could have been injured or killed. No accountability.
