Art exhibit in Ridgewood features oils and watercolors

“My studio is nestled right in the heart of the upper Catskills – yards away are the most commanding views of creeks and mountains and forests, each season of the year,” said oil painter Peter Liman of Glen Rock. He calls his style of painting bold in both color and texture.

Sheila Trautman, a watercolorist from Teaneck, is partnering with Liman in an exhibit at the Stable Gallery in Ridgewood, “Oil and Water Do Mix.”
Liman and Trautman both have their studios in the Northern Catskill Mountains.
