Fair Lawn NJ, according to Bergen County Executive Jim Tedesco on Thursday, the Bergen County Department of Public Works Operations showed up to help CareOne with their supply drive to support those affected by the recent terrorist acts in Israel.
With just a few hours before take-off, CareOne’s forklift experienced a technical issue. After hearing the news, the Bergen County DPW came to the rescue with a backup forklift and made sure the supplies were able to make their intended flight. An immense thank you to Bergen County DPW for coming to the aid when called upon!
The Straus family and Chavrim of Bergen County provided most of the legwork to organize all the supplies!

The talk on the street is that the county will have to take over certain departments of the village.
1- despatch
2- water pollution
3- roads
4- sell the water department
5- out source sanitation and recycling.
6- all fields,
7- fleet service to the country
Sounds good
