Westwood NJ, Westwood Mayor Ray Arroyo reminds everyone to please be aware :

The County’s planned replacement of storm drains has commenced along Kinderkamack  road. All work is being performed at night between 9:00 pm and 5:30 am; and is scheduled for completion through Friday June 27th.

The work sites are Kinderkamack at Lotus and Kinderkamack at Westwood Ave/ 5 Corners. Last night the County contractor damaged the electrical lines servicing the 5 Corners traffic signals.

Westwood Police Department will have officers directing traffic at that intersection, this morning, until the repairs are effected and the traffic signals restored.

Please drive safely through the intersection , be especially aware of pedestrians trying to cross the street and follow the directions of Westwood Police Department officers guiding traffic through the intersection.
