Allendale NJ, March 12, 2024 – Officers from the Bergen County Sheriff Commercial Vehicle Weight Team assisted Allendale Police with truck inspection details on Chestnut Street, on Park Avenue and on East Allendale Avenue.
A commercial van failing to display business name and town as required attracts the attention of Sheriff’s Traffic Officer Michael Griffin, weigh master, along with Allendale Police Officer Christian Moore and Christopher Naumov on Chestnut Street. Officer Naumov is seen requesting credentials from the driver.
The Sheriff’s certified portable scales are brought to Allendale in a Tahoe, and Erold Court served as the inspection area. Allendale Police Officer Naumov is seen issuing a summons for commercial vehicle violation.
Allendale Police Officer Christian Moore asks large truck operator to turn diesel engine off so he and Allendale Police Sgt. Dan Rosendahl can explain weight violations. The driver received summonses for disregard of Chestnut Street 5 ton limit.
