Hackensack NJ, On Saturday morning, the Bergen County Sheriff’s Office sanitized the personal vehicles of over fifty healthcare workers from Hackensack University Medical Center in conjunction with Einstein Mobile Detailing Services of Lodi. The event took place from 6 a.m. to 9 a.m. at the Alfred N. Sanzari Building on Essex Street in Hackensack.
The Bergen County Sheriff’s Office recently purchased fogging devices that disinfect and sanitize vehicles and office spaces. This equipment works by using tiny droplets that can help reduce pathogens in tight spaces.
This service was offered as a thank you to the healthcare heroes working on the frontline of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.
“I want to thank the men and women of the Sheriff’s Office and all our community partners for making this event a success. It is essential that we show healthcare workers our gratitude for being on the frontlines combating this pandemic, and that we are all in this together. I look forward to offering this service to our healthcare workers throughout the county in the weeks to come” said Sheriff Anthony Cureton.
The Bergen County Sheriff’s Office thanks the Sanzari family for closing the parking lot at the Alfred N. Sanzari building, GTBM of East Rutherford for providing sanitizing solution to the agency since the beginning of this health crisis, and Starbucks for donating coffee to healthcare workers waiting for their personal vehicles to be sanitized.
It’s because they have nothing else do do. There are no accidents, no robberies, no shootings. The EMS paramedics and healthcare, sanitation and supply chain/transportation workers are the real heroes. The BC Sheriff’s office are literally sitting around getting paid to eat donuts, so now they’re going to go around with their recently purchased fogging devices that disinfect and sanitize vehicles and office spaces?
Years from now, cancer rates will skyrocket as a result of all the chemicals being used to disinfect/decontaminate/sanitize during the COVID-19 crisis.
Yup and collecting 150k to do it. They win. You lose.
Choose the correct career next life. Until then, hate.
Wow, tone deaf and an asshole.
Smug as all f$&@
I’ve read so much about what their doing for healthcare workers (deserved) and inmates (really?) but how are they taking care of their Corrections officers who have been exposed or are running the risk of being exposed every day. Quiet on that front.
Oh please! Disinfecting cars. It’s theater, hence the publicity, and does absolutely nothing with respect to combating Covid 19.
That’s big of them to waste our tax dollars purchasing fogging devices that disinfect and sanitize vehicles and office spaces…all so they can feel better about themselves sitting around on their duffs eating donuts and gaining the Covid-15 while collecting $150,000 salaries and pensions. Arrogant scum bag pricks.

.
TRUE.
.
MOST of what is going on (including the ineffective masks and lockdowns) is theater.
