Big Data Collection comes to Ridgewood thru Park Mobile

Parking App Train Station
Big Brother is Watching ?

Readers  says “More social engineering (using the “nudging method”) This will basically force people to either use Park Mobile or buy a hang tag.

Anything to get us on the “let us collect all personal usage data so we can provide you with a better experience”

Park Mobile system so we can catalog and monetize you and more easily edge up parking fees without causing any uproar or additional internal costs.

They want us all to get hacked. I use my credit/debit card as little as is humanly possible. For big time train or plane travel only.

Apps are very vulnerable to hacking according to PBS TV segment.”

Parkmobile charges a fee AND gathers data.

“may collect … your name and mailing address, country, date of birth, gender, telephone and fax numbers, email address, and lifestyle and other information … No personal information will be shared with advertisers or partners without your permissio

Data collection and its resale is massive and has been going on for years. The biggest data traders are companies like Google, Facebook, Verizon, almost every bank, Amazon, etc. The next time you see that massive terms of service that is way too long to read and you immediately click “I agree”, you have agreed to all this. There’s a reason why most Google and Facebook services are free.
