Body Discovered Along Hudson River in Fort Lee: Investigation Underway

Fort Lee NJ, a death investigation is currently underway after authorities discovered a body along the Hudson River shoreline in Fort Lee, NJ, on Saturday morning.

Investigation Led by Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office

According to Jeffrey Angermeyer, Deputy of Detectives for the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office, the Palisades Interstate Parkway Police Department found the body at 10:58 a.m. near the Ross Dock Picnic Area, located off Henry Hudson Drive.

The victim’s identity has not been released as authorities continue their investigation.

Ongoing Law Enforcement Response

The Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office Major Crimes Unit and the Bergen County Sheriff’s Office Crime Scene Unit responded to the scene to assist in the investigation.

The Ross Dock Picnic Area, situated just north of the George Washington Bridge, is a popular recreational site featuring a boat launch, playground, and scenic views along the Palisades Interstate Parkway.
