Ho-Ho-Kus NJ, on Monday, May 30, at 10:30 AM, the Borough of Ho-Ho-Kus will hold its annual Memorial Day Parade starting at Sheridan and Ardmore Avenues and concluding at the War Memorial on East Franklin Turnpike for a Remembrance Ceremony hosted by the V.F.W. Washington Post 192. The ceremony will feature a wreath laying, a rifle salute and a dedication to the unveiling of our Hometown Hero decorative banners honoring our own Ho-Ho-Kus military service members.
Spectators are encouraged to gather along the parade route in support of this time-honored tradition when families, neighbors and friends come together to pay tribute to those soldiers who gave the profound sacrifice of their life for the ideals of their county and the pursuit of freedom.
The parade will feature the Scouts, HHK Police, HHKFD, HHK Ambulance Corps, the Mayor and Council, the Board of Education, local groups, and members of the NHRHS Band.
Following the ceremony, we encourage our residents to view the banners hung throughout the business district. We are grateful to the generous friends and families who sponsored this meaningful inaugural program.
