With the NJ Transit strike expected to begin on May 16, 2025, Boxcar is stepping in to provide commuters with a reliable alternative. Starting Monday, May 12, Boxcar will implement a new Bergen Bullet emergency schedule from Ridgewood Train Station to ensure continued transportation throughout the strike period.
Why the New Schedule?
The anticipated NJ Transit strike is set to create major disruptions for New Jersey commuters. To support riders during this critical time, Boxcar has launched an expanded schedule for the Bergen Bullet service through May 31—with the possibility of extending it based on demand.
