WESTFIELD N.J. ,Assembly Republican Leader Jon Bramnick (R-Union) announced plans for a rally against state-imposed, high-density housing at a town hall meeting tonight in Cranford. The rally will be held on the steps of the Statehouse Annex on Thursday, September 20 at 10 a.m.
Jon Bramnick , “We cannot allow the Courts to require our towns to build thousands of residential units without regard to the impact on schools, traffic and property taxes. The legislature must act immediately. Both democrats and republicans agree that action is needed now and at the very least a moratorium on litigation until the legislature acts. Local zoning laws should be respected.”
Yes, yes and yes. Now, town council, get off your rearends and support this effort. Quit hiding behind lack of knowledge and ability. You have a voice – – use it before its too late.
wow did the GOP wake up???
btw who is running against Joshy
Love this guy. About time we stepped up to this antiquated rule pushed by a bunch of uber-liberal, hippy dreamers of the 1960’s. Taking our beautiful towns with excellent schools and hard-working people and turning them into urban shi*holes.
Also love making all you limousine liberals (still living off generational family wealth) cringe when one of these developments is proposed in your backyard.
Id love to know what the developers gave Aronsohn and his supporters to build all the high density housing in Ridgewood ,effectively turing Ridgewood into a sh$thole
@9.45AM. Do you really think our VC gives a damn about this? I would appreciate any comment from them on this but won’t hear none. I can’t expect Mr Hache to talk about this as he has a conflict of interest. His business is tied to development. Susan and the others are too focused with their own image and the garage. If these people can’t handle paving our streets and lots what makes you think they will deal with such major issue such as uncontrolled housing which has so much money behind it. What has started at Brogan will sweep the whole Ridgewood. In a couple of years it will be a brand new city. Oh, and for those who think new housing does not affect schools greatschools.org just lowered RHS grade to 9 from 10. It had been a 10 for many, many years. I can only imagine what the grade will be in a few years at which time we can all kiss goodbye our house values.
The Brogan project is a disaster for the town. None of these high density projects will benefit anyone except the developers and their attorneys. Westfield is paying attention – it does not want to become Montclair or Hackensack which is where Ridgewood is headed. Where do the developers and their attorneys live?
THIS TIMES ONE THOUSAND…
