  1. wow 40% is great news. let’s see what is going to happen. I bought a big bag of pop corn,

  2. 40% more than 20% is 28% voter turnout. Big headline for a little number. Unless it was written wrong…thats still less than the % for the garage vote in November which was closer to 33%.

  3. Are we going to know the results tonight ?

  4. Brian – read the headline again?? It says AT LEAST.

  5. When are results revealed?

  6. Yes, Brian. But at least these voters know what they are voting for! Of your 33%, I’d guess at least 50% felt duped!

  7. On a bus home right now and it’s abnormally full. People want to get home and vote!

  8. Unofficial results should be in before 10 PM.

  9. people get out and vote.

  10. last time you should of seen the the village managers kiss ass to the new council , it made me sick. right coin boy , even he was at the vote to shake hands, my god , you should of seen it.

  11. I just saw Weitz and Brooks signs on the rt 17 jughandle in Paramus. State property, in another town. These weasels must have a lot riding on this!

  12. the top dog,s must be shaking. we love it.

  13. If Roberta S. tries to suck up tonight to new council members who happen not to be the ones she campaigned for, I want to be there to watch them laugh in her face and suggest that she update her CV by July 2. Dana can take pictures.

  14. We are hearing more like 40% turnout!!! Wow. That is great for Democracy regardless of who wins. At least the next council will have a clear message of what the people want.

  15. Some yasou curmudgeon took down Hache’s signs on Grove Street….

  16. 25% turnout expected…which is 3x more than normal….

  17. so far so good, we are up two to one. Fingers crossed. say a prayer and light a candle.

  18. time to go to the hardware store and by a new broom. we all hope for a big sweep.

  19. please some one take a lot of snap shots of who,s at the end of the vote, we all need to know who we are dealing with. who can we trust, and who are the bull shit, ers , tonight it all will come out. if you see top managers hand shanking the new council then you and i know they are full of piss.

  20. I feel bad for Roberta and other Village employees who will lose their jobs when the new management team takes over.Clearly, some must go but a full scale house cleaning would be a disaster. I would put Chris Rutishauseer,,Paul Kalksmar and Tom Yorka on a short list to be eliminated along with Paul Kalksma,,Greg Moritz…….,and of course Blaise Brancheau must go.,,,he accomplioshes absoluttely..nothing.

    1. No Ed a full scale housing all over the Village if what we need

  21. Just please now go remove all those tacky signs

  22. Roberta will stay.

  23. First to go…. Gail Price (and her firm), then Chris Rutishauser (sp?). And if Blaise doesn’t start doing some actual planning for Ridgewood’s future, then he can go too.
