NJDOT and NJ Transit Work on Flood Issues on Route 17 in Carlstadt

Carlstadt NJ, the State NJDOT and NJ Transit Railroad have responded to the borough of Carlstadt claims and concerns of flooding on Route 17 on both sides, which is causing flooding in our residential area. NJDOT has begun cleaning their water drainage systems on Rt 17 and Division Ave. NJ Transit has identified their responsibilities as well and will be onsite next week. Once they complete their maintenance, we will continue to remind both agencies about periodically returning to their responsible areas. Its not “global warming” or “climate change”  its just much needed maintenance.

Carlstadt NJ, Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella announced the arrests of IBRAHIM ASARE (DOB:5/23/1996; single; unemployed) of 254 Orange Street, Apartment 207, Newark, NJ on drug and weapons charges, and BRANDON WUSU (9/16/98; single; unemployed) of 254 Orange Street, Apartment 207, Newark, NJ on ID theft and money laundering charges. The arrests are the result of an investigation conducted by the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office under the direction of Chief Jason Love.

Carlstadt NJ, Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella announced the arrest of CHRISTOPHER MACIAS (DOB: 9/15/1989; single; fulfillment associate) of 6713 Polk Street, #AA, Guttenberg, New Jersey on a charge of Assault by Auto. The arrest is the result of an investigation conducted by the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office under the direction of Chief Jason Love, and the Carlstadt Police Department under the direction of Chief Thomas Berta.
