A local talent, Matthew Pellicano Jr., a fourth-grade student from Lyncrest Elementary School in Fair Lawn, is now gracing the big screen, starring as the younger version of the legendary Bruce Springsteen in the new biopic, “Springsteen: Deliver Me from Nowhere.”

The film, which chronicles the making of Springsteen’s raw and introspective 1982 Nebraska album, hit theaters on October 24, 2025. Pellicano’s role as “Young Bruce” shines a light on the Boss’s childhood roots right here in New Jersey.
