Rollover Crash on Route 17 South in Hasbrouck Heights Sends 3 to Hospital

Hasbrouck Heights NJ, on Wednesday February 8th the Hasbrouck Heights Fire Department responded around 10am with  Rescue 1 and Engine 2  for a rollover crash on Route 17 south. Three people were removed from the vehicle and transported to the hospital.

Car Fire Quickly Brought Under Control in Hasbrouck Heights

Hasbrouck Heights NJ, the Hasbrouck Heights Fire Department  responded to Jefferson and the Boulevard for a working car fire. The fire was quickly brought under control and no further damage was done to any nearby structures. No injuries reported .

4 Car Chain-Reaction Crash In Hasbrouck Heights Shuts Down Route 17 for an Hour

Hasbrouck Heights NJ, according to Hasbrouck Heights Police a woman had to be extricated from her car and taken to the hospital after a four-vehicle crash that snarled traffic on Route 17 North for about an hour Monday. The chain-reaction crash was set off when a Belleville motorist driving a Ford F-550 rear-ended a Toyota Prius, driven by the woman, that was stopped in traffic. The woman was hospitalized with non-life threatening injuries.The crash occurred at approximately 11 a.m. on Route 17 just before Franklin Avenue, police said. The road was reopened approximately an hour after the crash.

Hasbrouck Heights Man Gets Six-Year Prison Sentence for Trafficking in “Ghost Guns”

Hasbrouck Heights NJ, Acting Attorney General Matthew J. Platkin today announced that a Bergen County man has been sentenced to prison following his conviction on gun charges stemming from a gun trafficking investigation led by the Division of Criminal Justice (DCJ) and Paterson Police Department.

Hasbrouck Heights Police Officer Rescues A Handicapped Women from a Burning Home Monday Afternoon

Hasbrouck Heights NJ, the Hasbrouck Heights Fire Department responded to Baldwin Terrace for an activated fire alarm. Upon arrival, smoke was showing from the first and second floor. Companies quickly knocked down the fire on the first floor and one party was rescued from the home with the help of the Hasbrouck Heights Police department.

Hasbrouck Heights NJ,  Table to Table, New Jersey’s first food rescue organization, today announced a partnership with DoorDash (NYSE: DASH) that includes a financial sponsorship of the nonprofit’s campaign, Bag a Lunch, Help a Bunch, which is equivalent to 25,000 meals.  Additionally, DoorDash will power deliveries of meals to recipient partners in communities in need. The new, year-long relationship supports the organization and DoorDash’s shared mission to help eliminate food insecurity throughout Northern New Jersey.
