Maywood NJ, Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella announced the arrests of 19-year-old BEIKER A. AGUILERA AREYAN of East Elmhurst, NY; 23-year-old DANIEL A. RIVAS-ALVARADO of New York, NY; 25-year-old YEISON J. AMARANTE BOLIVAR of Miami, FL; and 26-year-old JHON C. REQUENA YERENA of the Bronx, NY on charges stemming from an armed robbery. The arrests are the result of a months-long investigation conducted by the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office under the direction of Chief Matthew Finck and the Maywood Police Department under the direction of Chief Terence Kenny.

Maywood Intersection Accident Leaves one Victim Trapped in Vehicle , then Rushed to HUMC

Maywood NJ, on Monday at approximately 11:50am City of Hackensack Deputy 2 and Rescue 1 responded with mutual aid to Maywood at the intersection of Maywood Ave and Howcroft Road on reported motor vehicle accident with entrapment. Upon arrival they found two car motor vehicle accident with one vehicle operator entrapped and injured. Maywood Fire Company Engine stretched and charged a hose-line as Rescue 1 used Holmatro cutter and spreader to remove drivers side door. HUMC BLS stabilized the patient and Rescue 1 assisted with removing the driver from the vehicle and packaging the patient for transport to HUMC.
