Hasbrouck Heights NJ, on August 21, at approximately 9:45 PM, Hasbrouck Heights firefighters sprang into action after receiving reports of a multi-vehicle accident on Route 17 South. The call indicated a rollover and a vehicle that was smoking, prompting an immediate response from Chiefs 60, 61, and 62, along with Squad 1 and Engine 2.

Two Arrested in Falsely Reporting Garfield Drive-by Shooting

Garfield NJ,Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella announced the arrests of 18-year-old DAMIEN I. FLORES of Garfield, NJ and 22-year-old SAMANTHA N. DELACRUZ of Elmwood Park, NJ on charges stemming from a falsely reported shooting incident in Garfield, NJ. The arrests are the result of an investigation conducted by the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office under the direction of Chief Matthew Finck and the Garfield Police Department under the direction of Chief Richard Uram.

Election Update: West Saddle River Road to Be Paved

Ridgewood NJ, for the first time since the 1960’s ,West Saddle River Road will be milled and paved on Monday, August 19th, pending weather conditions. As a result, West Saddle River Road will be CLOSED from Route 17 to Racetrack Road on Monday from 7:00 am to approximately 5:00 pm.
