🔍 Sneak Peek: See a Button from Washington’s Inauguration!

A major highlight of today’s walking tour is a rare, exclusive look at volunteer Travis Weber’s extensive collection of 18th and 19th-century artifacts uncovered right here in New Jersey.

The collection features remarkable pieces of everyday early American life, including period-accurate coins, hand-forged nails, colonial buckles, and uniform buttons. Most notably, attendees will get to see a genuine button from George Washington’s presidential inauguration (with the design famously mirrored in collections at Mount Vernon).

🏡 Tour the 1752 Zabriskie-Steuben House

The historical journey doesn’t stop with the artifacts. At the conclusion of the walking tour, guests are invited to participate in an intimate tour of the iconic Zabriskie-Steuben 1752 House.

Steeped in military history, this structure served as a strategic operational point during the Revolutionary War. Complimentary refreshments will be served at the house to wrap up the holiday celebration.
