Join the Bergen County Historical Society on Sunday, February 23, 2025, from 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM at Historic New Bridge Landing, 1201 Main Street, River Edge, NJ for an immersive Revolutionary War-era experience!
Step Back in Time with Live Music & Dance
🎭 Featured Performances:
- The Tricorne Dance Ensemble, under the direction of dance mistress Denise Piccino, will present an hour-long performance celebrating General George Washington through song and dance inside the 1752 Steuben House at 1:30 PM & 3:00 PM.
- Live musical accompaniment will be provided by Ridley and Anne Enslow on the fiddle and hammered dulcimer.
- Limited space is available for each performance, so be sure to arrive early!
Explore Revolutionary War Artifacts & Live Reenactments
🏛️ What’s On Display?
- Rare artifacts from the Bergen County Historical Society’s Washington collection and the Revolutionary War inside the Steuben House.
- Authentic Jersey Dutch out-kitchen demonstrations, where interpreters will be preparing 18th-century dishes like Cheshire pork pie, orange chess pie, and syllabub.
🎖️ Live Military Reenactments
- Meet re-enactors from the 3rd New Jersey Regiment, who will demonstrate military life from the Revolutionary era.
