Character Development

Ridgewood NJ election

this blog post echos a lot of sentiment now in Ridgewood

from the

THE MUSEUM OF PERIPHERAL ART blog

Never in my life did I expect to put political signs outside my house, but there they are: Voigt, Walsh, Hache. I have always been withdrawn from politics but what changed me very recently was having attended a public meeting over urban-scale development in our small town where I have lived with my family the past 16 years.

  1. Thank you Drew! And may the force be with you.

  2. “…it comes down to stewardship and having a sense of control where you live to make you understand that government at every level needs to be of the people, by the people, for the people…”

Take Back our Village. Vote Voigt, Hache Coghlan-Walsh. No more #paularonsohn #ridgewoodnj #bergencounty #2016election

  3. It’s hard to believe that such common sense is already an inherent compromise. It’s not that we don’t want ANY buildings, just smaller ones. Smaller apartments, a smaller garage and a smaller hospital. It seems so reasonable yet we are labeled “lunatics”, “obstructionists” and “anti-everything” by the special interest PR machine and our sitting Council majority.

  4. 2:48 Well said. It’s called “greed.”

  5. I don’t want any new buildings and I’m not afraid to say so.
