Paramus NJ, A traffic light stanchion was knocked to the ground early Friday afternoon, 10/12, at the busy intersection of Paramus Road and West Midland Avenue, Paramus, as a result of a collision between two (2) passenger vehicles. Injuries to the occupants of both vehicles were said to have been non life threatening in nature. Ridgewood Police assisted Paramus Police with traffic control during the incident. Paramus Fire Company #3 and Paramus EMS also responded to the scene.
I’ve seen a number of accidents at this intersection….usually it’s someone trying to make a left towards Paramus Catholic and the car heading east from Grove to Midland is going like hell.
The driver making the left thinks he can make t iand winds up getting fish-tailed by the driver coming from Grove…
