Paramus NJ,  Governor Phil Murphy visited Paramus Fire Company 3 to highlight his proposed addition of $10 million in American Rescue Plan (ARP) funding for Fiscal Year 2024 to support the continuation of the Firefighter Grant Program, which first launched in May 2022. The ARP Firefighter Grant Program provides funding to local and regional fire departments across New Jersey to ensure firefighters have proper protective, cleaning, and sanitization equipment.

Paramus Road Temporarily Closed after Motor Vehicle Collision

Paramus NJ, At least one (1) person was transported by ambulance to a local hospital following a Monday morning, 05/04, rear end crash in front of 186 Paramus Road, Paramus, in which a BMW sedan plowed into a Ford Windstar van. Paramus Police, Paramus EMS, and Paramus Fire Company #3 responded to the incident. Two (2) flatbed tow trucks removed the wrecked vehicles. Paramus Police uniformed and plainclothes officers conducted a thorough search of the BMW before it was towed away.

UPDATE : Single Engine Plane Makes Emergency Landing on Paramus Municipal Golf Course

Paramus NJ, a single engine plane made an emergency landing at the Paramus Municipal Golf Course, 314 Paramus Road, Paramus late Sunday morning, 12/09. Three (3) occupants of the aircraft sustained non life threatening injuries during the landing and were transported by ambulances to local hospitals. No one on the ground was injured. Paramus Police, Paramus EMS, and Paramus Fire Company #3 responded to the incident.

Collision Takes out Traffic Light on West Midland Avenue

Paramus  NJ, A traffic light stanchion was knocked to the ground early Friday afternoon, 10/12, at the busy intersection of Paramus Road and West Midland Avenue, Paramus, as a result of a collision between two (2) passenger vehicles. Injuries to the occupants of both vehicles were said to have been non life threatening in nature. Ridgewood Police assisted Paramus Police with traffic control during the incident. Paramus Fire Company #3 and Paramus EMS also responded to the scene.
