New Jersey Local Nonprofits to Receive Financial Support Through Opening Promotions

Fair Lawn NJ, Columbia Bank is pleased to announce its expansion into eastern Bergen County,  by opening its newest branch at 560 Cedar Lane in Teaneck, New Jersey. Teaneck Mayor James Dunleavy, Mayor  Deputy Elie Y. Katz, town Council members, Thomas J. Kemly, President and CEO of Columbia Bank, bank executives,  nonprofit representatives and others, will gather at the site on December 9, 2022 to celebrate the occasion. 

Grand opening festivities include: 

10:00 am – 12:00 pm, Glazed and Confused food truck will provide Kosher  gourmet doughnuts, coffee and hot chocolate, compliments of Columbia  Bank. 

Beginning December 9th, community members can visit the branch to receive a free scavenger hunt card which challenges participants to visit local businesses to obtain a sticker. The first 20 people to complete the  card will receive a prize. 

As part of Columbia Bank’s local support efforts, the company is also  hosting its “Banking for a Cause” program. For each new checking or savings account opened at the location, the Bank will donate $10 to one  of the following Teaneck-based nonprofits of the customer’s choice: 

Helping Hands Food Pantry of Teaneck Jewish Family and Children’s Services of Northern New Jersey Never Alone Again One Family Fund  Sharsheret Inc. 

The Bright Side Family Senior Housing and Supportive Care  Columbia Bank’s Newest Branch Opens in Teaneck,  On March 31, 2023, the donations will be tallied and Columbia Bank will  contribute:

Additionally, the branch will extend special promotions designed to provide competitive products to the Teaneck  community, ranging from CD specials to cash bonuses for opening a checking account. 

The Teaneck location offers full-service personal and business banking, including drive-up amenities, private conference  areas, an enhanced customer experience featuring the latest in banking technology, including a video message screen,  digital rate display, and an “Intelligent ATM” which can be utilized to deposit funds, transfer money, and other tasks that  can typically only be done via teller service.
