Ask any/all seniors that I spend time with if I have ever told them who to vote for, or if I have ever distributed any
campaign fliers to them. They will tell you the Truth.
It was Voight, Hache and Walsh campaigners who targeted senior citizens leaving my non-political luncheon at the last one
I would ever have (already a sad and poignant day for me) with their campaign literature as they boarded their senior bus.
I treat senior citizens as people, not as votes. I would not target senior citizens as a voting block, like they did.
A few days ago I refrained from commenting on the total fabrications written on the blog about who really behaved poorly during my luncheon, but the insults cannot go undefended when they just keep coming, and coming, and don’t relent.
You can bet that the anonymous comments posted on the Blog are ghost-written by the same mean and angry people – and worse than being unkind, they are also untrue.
Good riddance to bad rubbish.
If the senior citizens were boarding a bus, those who were distributing campaign literature to them were probably occupying a perfectly legitimate and appropriate location for that purpose. IOW they were exercising their first amendment rights in what is shaping up to be both a sizeable and hopefully successful effort to hand your dear friends Weitz, Brooks and Willett a schlonging they will not soon forget or live down. Cheer up, Ms. Hauck. Life is good today! Someday the anonymati will probably come out of the shadows and reveal their identities, but not until long after the likes of you and your friends, shameless anti-civil browbeaters that you are, have left public office, and are no longer exercising undue influence on the political goings-on in Ridgewood. And as for your apparently bittersweet exit, some of us are not exactly picking up on those supposedly bitter hints, or “notes” as the gourmand might say. Pretty much just a plain old sweet occasion and experience. Nothing personal, really–please don’t take undue offense.
If there were any senior citizens on the distribution list for the email I got from Hauck last night, that would make her a liar, because she most certainly told me who to vote for in that email.
This just in Haucks husband has been posting nasty stuff about Susan and Mike on this blog. Gwenn you are a hypocrate.

Hauck’s husband revealed his own identity in a vain attempt to claim that the comments in question should not be attributed to her. But there’s not a dime’s worth of difference compared to what she herself might have said, so what has her husband done but try to point fingers and shift attention from the inappropriate content of his (or his wife’s, how are we to know for sure?) comments?
11:38 – what Doug posted was way off-base. Attacking Sedon because he lives in a home with his in-laws? Not only is it stupid to assume that Mike is, in some way, “sponging” off of his in-laws but it’s low. How does Doug know the intimate workings of that family? Does Doug know who provides supports to whom? Has he never taken a dollar from his in-laws? If if wasn’t so presumptious, arrogant and nasty, it would be laughable.
And to say that Mike shouldn’t be on the Council because he doesn’t own property if the Village is equally offensive. Sorry Doug but lots of RESIDENTS rent homes in Ridgewood. In fact, some of the wealthiest people I know are renters. Just ask the real estate brokers in town what some of the houses rent for a month. The fact is alot of people are not willing to invest in Ridgewood right now; I know people that sold a few year ago and are renting in an effort to stave off any adverse consequences of the “renewal” that is being thrust upon us.
This blog post isn’t “ghost written”. Gwenn, your filthy politics DESTROYED this town. You’re decisions while on the council were self-serving and should be ashamed of yourself. And, I’m not even talking about your adulterous AFFAIR with mayor Aronsohn. You’re a piece of garbage and we’re very glad to see you go! Good riddance!
