Landscape paintings by David Buckbinder will be on display at the Waltuch Gallery of the Kaplen JCC on the Palisades in Tenafly from Aug. 2 to 25. A meet-the-artist reception will be held on Sunday, Aug. 2, from 1 to 3 p.m. Buckbinder studied fine art at the Art Student’s League in New York and art history at William Paterson University in Wayne. A member of the Ridgewood Art Institute, he has received many awards at juried shows throughout New Jersey and New York, including first place in oils and acrylics in the Ringwood Manor Association of the Arts Juried Show.
