>The Preserve Graydon Coalition will hold its first organizational meeting on Thursday, July 30, 2009, in the Youth Lounge at Village Hall, 131 N. Maple Avenue, Ridgewood.

Enter Village Hall, turn left in the lobby, and walk to the end of the hall.

The doors will open at 6:30 PM. The meeting will begin at 7:15 PM sharp.

Our time will be limited. This will not be a “town meeting.” Comments will be limited to members of the Coalition who agree in principle with the aims stated on the website, www.preservegraydon.org.

Tempers must remain calm and suggestions thoughtful.

We seek volunteers for the following tasks (for that evening only):

Meet and greet (help people fill out name tags, etc.) starting at around 7 PM
Take notes at the meeting
If you can do either of these tasks, please contact us asap.

Urgent: we need one or more marketing, public relations, or related communications professionals who can help with specific publicity-related projects right away.

Hoping to see you on Thursday,

Suzanne Kelly and Marcia Ringel
Co-Chairs, The Preserve Graydon Coalition

Note: Those who attend the meeting will have snared a prime parking spot for the evening’s Band Shell performance, “The McVey Family and Friends: Broadway and Beyond,” which starts at 8:30 PM. Walk to your car after our meeting, pick up your lawn chair or blanket, and relax at Veterans Field in time for the show–like Graydon, a longtime Ridgewood tradition.
