According to Police Cunningham, 70, a state senator for the 31st District since 2007, was driving westbound on Culver Avenue at about 9:30 a.m. when she sideswiped two cars. Cunningham told police she thought she “turned into a snowbank.” The two cars Cunningham crashed into were unoccupied.
The crash occurred at 9:40 a.m. near Route 440, near the Democratic senator’s Jersey City home, police said in radio transmissions. The vehicles involved in the crash were Cunningham’s Infiniti G35X SUV, a Nissan Altima and a Ford Focus.
Good job with the arrest lets make sure it doesnt get ‘broomed’ under the rug.

Rules don’t apply to me…I’m a state senator in a state that’s irrelevant.
