Hasbrouck Heights NJ, late Wednesday night, around 11 PM, the Hasbrouck Heights Fire Department sprang into action to tackle an unexpected series of events on Route 46.
Initial Response
Fire Department Chiefs 60, 61, and 62, along with Squad 1 and Engine 2, were dispatched to 46 East at Collins Ave to address a vehicle fire. As the teams made their way to the scene, a separate motor vehicle accident occurred on the opposite side of the highway, resulting in a second vehicle fire on 46 West.
Coordinated Effort
Once on scene, the crews quickly began extinguishing the vehicle fire on the eastbound side. However, the situation intensified when the vehicle involved in the westbound accident also ignited. Demonstrating remarkable coordination and efficiency, the crews from both engine companies managed to extinguish both vehicle fires successfully.
Support and Gratitude
A special thank you goes out to the Wood-Ridge Fire Department for their support in covering the Borough during this incident. Additionally, the Hasbrouck Heights Police Department played a crucial role by shutting down the highway, ensuring the safety of all personnel and motorists during the operation.

Why are cars catching on fire lately?
Especially cars that were made during Covid, a lot of them does not have relays or certain ships that they supposed too. Many manufactures used at market products so they can complete the car on the assembly line.
Again with thumbs down, people donβt even know exactly whatβs going on. 85% of the problems with vehicles that were built during Covid are having major electrical problems, across-the-board. Chips, relays, electrical, and we are seeing major engine failures on vehicles that never broke before like Toyotas Lexus, Look at Ford. They have more recalls on their line than anything else.
Yes, Toyota is having big problems just like Kia and Hyundai. Big recalls from Ford the last two weeks. Iβve many friends that are mechanics at Ford and they are telling me they never seen vehicles fall apart in the past two years recalls with Ford exhaust systems, steering on mustangs, Heavy duty trucks, electrical problems, eco-boost motors, falling apart, then go to Toyota quality has dropped drastically. You donβt have to believe what Iβm saying go online and look. Itβs all over the place so before you put them down do your research because youβre looking stupid.
ππ«΅πΌππ«΅πΌππ«΅πΌhey thumbs down are you kidding me or what. Obviously, you donβt read the latest automobile news, if you did, your thumb would be up down, and you would say what they are stating about Kia, Hyundai, Toyota, and especially Ford, itβs not bullshit. Go read it.π hey, donβt get mad at the messenger
